In 2010, Electrical Technician Kyle Bradley launched Nevcan as a services company focused on providing technical and instrumentation services and related supply to Nevada’s mining sector. Over the years, Bradley expanded into vacuuming and sump pump services, and extended Nevcan’s supply inventory.
In 2020, mining production consultant Michael Richer, specialist John West, and Bradley discussed opportunities to expand contracting and services to the mining sector in the United States. Michael is also owner of Civiltek, a firm that provides a range of contracting, civil, structural, mechanical and electrical services across Canada. Civiltek is part of a larger group of companies that includes Triotek, Quatro, URoll, and Sturda. Michael’s team has international experience in mining contracting around the world and has earned a reputation for quality work and project execution.
John West joined as partner and owner in 2021, adding more than three decades of supervisory experience, with twenty years in the mining sector, including work in production and vent shaft development, paste plant reticulation systems, and construction.
Richer, West and Bradley finalized a partnership in 2022, launching the new Nevcan, with three divisions: Nevcan Contracting, Nevcan Services, and Nevcan Supply. This partnership significantly expands Nevcan’s capacity to support the mining sector in the United States.
